What is a carbon facial? 

A carbon facial is also commonly referred to as the “China Doll Facial” (named for its porcelain doll-like finish to the skin) or “Hollywood Peel”. This facial is an innovative laser resurfacing treatment that utilises focused light beams to treat skin imperfections. This facial is the latest technology to deliver long-lasting results.

How Does it work? 

This facial involves applying medical-grade carbon lotion over skin to penetrate your pores and is left to set within the skin. As it sets within the skin it will adjust to the temperature of your skin and absorb the dirt and dead skin cells. Then we use the Cool Laser to penetrate the carbon, when the laser hits the carbon it begins to absorb the electricity of the laser and causes a reaction that evaporates the carbon and blast away.  As the laser penetrates the deep layers of the skin, it stimulates collagen production.

Is It safe for my skin type?

Carbon Facial can be used on all skin types from 1-6, however we don’t recommend this treatment for people with damaged broken skin or active pustules.
